The Library Book Group meets at 7:00pm on the last Wednesday of each month, in the library gathering room. Book titles are chosen by the members and copies are available at the library. The group alternates between fiction and non-fiction titles.
The Upton Reads Book Group meets on the second Tuesday each month at 12:45 in the
library gathering room. Sue Pfeiffer from the library staff leads a
casual and thought-provoking discussion of an eclectic mix of
contemporary literary fiction. Copies of each month’s book are
available at the library. Please call the library directly at 529-6272
to request a copy of this month's title.
Teen Reads
is our answer to a teen book club! On the third Wednesday of each
month, Children's & Young Adult Librarian, Mrs. Murphy, posts a new
recommendation on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Titles are
specifically from the young adult collection and are recommended for our
teen readers, usually ages 14-18. Copies of the current month's title
will be available behind the circulation desk for members and
non-members alike, as well as on Mrs. Murphy's staff pick shelf. Find
out what's new in YA lit!
The Kids' Book Club meets at 4:00pm on the first Wednesday of each month, via ZOOM meeting, with Children's & Young Adult Librarian, Mrs. Murphy. Each month, members explore popular juvenile and preteen titles, while having fun learning about what's new in kids' lit! Copies are available at the circulation desk for members and nonmembers, as well as on Mrs. Murphy's staff pick shelf.
